It’s Peace Corps Week!

Site visit, teacher training workshop, and spending as much time with my wonderful host family as I can before swear in this month. 

I can’t believe that training is almost over, and I am going to be an official Peace Corps volunteer soon. I came home from my site visit today, and my host family warmly welcomed me back. My mother just harvested her rice field, so they had extra money for a celebration/welcome back dinner. Outside we sat and had Moo Gao Taut(a dish of pork grilled over a charcoal fire with a moat of noodle and vegetable soup around the pork and above the fire). It’s funny how I didn’t realize how much I missed them until I came back home.
